I develop marketing strategies, manage campaigns, and create all the materials that help tell our story—from digital content to print pieces. My responsibilities include customer engagement, brand management, and just generally making things pretty! It's my job to make sure every touchpoint reflects the professionalism and care that define this firm.
What keeps me motivated is the ever-evolving nature of my industry. I love seeing how a marketing campaign can come together and increase customer engagement. Although I've worked with retail companies in the past, I tend to find myself working in industries and with professionals who really just want to help people. The ability to reach so many through so many pathways is exciting—and honestly, content creation and building a marketing plan are just fun! I'm passionate about understanding each business and capturing the unique voice of its brand, building a cohesive experience where clients feel the same level of care across every interaction.
I'm completely self-taught and have been doing this since the MySpace days. I specialize in small business organic marketing, and my inspiration to work with Sommer Investments came from Anna and Susan themselves. Anna and I have been close friends for over 10 years, and I would often do content creation for them in my spare time. Working together full-time just made sense.
I grew up in Ontario, California, and currently live in Buckeye, Arizona, where we have sunshine pretty much year-round. I've been married to my husband Mark for over 16 years—we've been together for 22! We have two children: our son Dax and our daughter Tanner, whom I homeschool. Mark is the Director of Construction for Better Buzz Coffee Roasters, and our ability to work remotely affords us the freedom to travel with him for both business and pleasure throughout the year.
If I have downtime, you can usually find me with my nose in a book. I also love traveling with my family and spending time outdoors—hiking, offroading, and exploring new places together.
